&lt;p&gt;Pam O'Hare was recognized as one of four national finalists for the Program Director of the Year Award.  O'Hare is responsible for all aspects of Port Huron Hospital Wound Healing Center operation including ensuring quality patient care, recruiting and hiring, compliance with federal and state guidelines, budgeting and fiscal policies, and marketing and sales.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As a finalist for the Clinical Nurse Manager of the Year Award, Cathy Smart was also honored for her work integrating new therapies into care, training new personnel, reviewing and reporting on patient outcomes and ensuring quality of care.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The honors were bestowed during a three-day clinical symposium in Orlando, Fla., attended by 450 wound healing physicians and clinicians from around the country who participated in briefings on new treatment options that may bring additional advances in the care of chronic wounds. Port Huron Hospital Wound Healing Center reports patient outcomes to National Healing that has resulted in one of the most comprehensive databases for wound outcomes in the U.S. enabling the company to share its knowledge with wound care experts from around the world.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The center is part of National Healing’s nationwide network of wound care researchers and specialists. Patients suffering from diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, infections and other chronic wounds which have not healed in 30 days or more have access to highly specialized wound care including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure wound therapy, bio-engineered skin substitutes, biological and biosynthetic dressings and growth factor therapies. Patients may be referred by their physicians or make an appointment without any referral.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Raffles—Sell raffle tickets. Must be at least 18 years old.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Mrs. Claus—Greeting children (while seated).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Talking Tree—Stand behind the one way glass partition and speak into a microphone made to disguise  your voice as you interact with the children around an animated tree.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Registration of Volunteers— Register volunteers as they enter the arena.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Volunteer Assistant—Assist the Volunteer Co-Chairs with a variety of tasks, provide relief for volunteers,  light housekeeping of areas to assure a clean and pleasant appearance. &lt;/li&gt;

Audience members have the opportunity to see how the show is put together and taped, all while sitting at the edge of the St. Clair River outside the Maritime Center at Vantage Point. Plus they get to sample the finished recipes prepared by the chef.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What’s Cooking at the Market with Port Huron Hospital coincides with the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market at Vantage Point. All of the recipes prepared by chefs include at least two ingredients that may be purchased at the Market. Each week features a host from Port Huron Hospital and a chef from a downtown Port Huron Restaurant or organization.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The series of programs is co-sponsored by Port Huron Hospital, E&amp;amp;A Credit Union and Downtown Port Huron. It airs randomly on Comcast Cable Channel 6 Port Huron between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., weekdays.
