A 25,000 square-foot, 49-bed, Medicare-certified unit focuses primarily on making your stay a short one.  The skilled staff of Independence Pointe offers intensive, customized rehabilitation therapy that is a perfect transition between a hospital stay and your return to everyday life. 

The rehabilitation program is designed for individuals who have experienced the following:  

  • Stroke
  • Arthritis
  • Car accident victims
  • Multiple Sclerosis        
  • Cancer
  • Heart conditions
  • Hip replacements/joint surgeries
  • Back injuries
  • Renal Disease
  • COPD and more… 

Highlights include:

  • Professional, skilled and fully licensed rehabilitation team 
  • Physical, occupational and speech therapy programs ranging from five to seven days per week
  • 24 hour nursing care
  • State-of the-art therapy gym/equipment
  • Choice of primary care physician
  • Access to physical medicine rehabilitation physician
  • Access to psychiatry services
  • Collaboration with interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation, dietician, activities and social services)
  • Periodic team reviews to discuss goals, plan of care and discharge planning
  • Licensed social worker to assist with discharge planning, coordination of home care services or alternative living
